Flavored Bhang Drink Recipe
Ingredients Required to make Flavored Bhang Drink
- 2 cups of water
- 1-ounce marijuana (preferably fresh leaves and flowers of a female plant)
- 4 cups of warm milk
- 2 tablespoons of blanched and chopped almonds
- 1/8 teaspoon of garam masala (it is a mixture of cloves, cinnamon, and cardamon)
- 1/4 teaspoon of powdered ginger
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of rosewater
- 1 cup of sugar
You need to bring the water to a rapid boil and pour it into a clean teapot. Then, remove any seeds or twigs from marijuana and add it to the teapot and cover it properly. Let this soak for about 7-10 minutes.
Now, you need to strain the water and marijuana through a piece of muslin cloth. Take the flowers and leaves and squeeze them between your hands to extract any liquid that remains. Add this to the strained water.
Place the leaves and flowers in a mortar and add 2 teaspoons of warm milk. Slowly but firmly grind the leaves together with milk. Now, Gather up the marijuana and squeeze out as much milk as you can.
You need to repeat this process until you have used about 1/2 cup of milk (approximately about 4 to 5 times). Place all the milk that has been extracted in a bowl. By this time, if everything has been done properly, then the marijuana will have turned into a pulpy mass.

Now, add the chopped almonds, and some more warm milk to the pulp. Grind this a bit in the mortar until a fine paste is formed. Squeeze this paste a little and collect the extract as before. You need to repeat this a few more times until only some fibers and nut meals are left. You can discard this residue.
Now just combine all the liquids that have been collected, including the water in which the marijuana was brewed. Add to this the garam masala, that we prepared, dried ginger powder and some rosewater. Add the sugar, as per your taste and remaining milk.
