Zillow Commercial Song Lyrics. Place to Be lyrics by Malvina Reynolds.
Zillow Commercial Song Lyrics
Everybody has a place to go
Everybody wants a place to be
When birds fly they’re swimming in the sky
While fish are swimming in the sea
Everybody has a place to go
Everybody wants to be somewhere
Lobsters live at the bottom of the sea
While I’m at the bottom of the air
Everybody has a place to go
Everybody wants a place to be
When birds fly they’re swimming in the sky
While fish are swimming in the sea
Everybody has a place to go
Everybody wants to be somewhere
Lobsters live at the bottom of the sea
While I’m at the bottom of the air
Everybody has a place to go
Everybody wants a place to be
When birds fly they’re swimming in the sky
While fish are swimming in the sea
Everybody has a place to go
Everybody wants to be somewhere
Lobsters live at the bottom of the sea
While I’m at the bottom of the air

I’m glad to have finally found this song, I enjoy hearing it in the Zillow ad.
Thanks for the comment. Keep it coming. It really motivates us. Thanks 🙂
Many thanks, for such an upbeat happy song! Place to Be brings a smile to my face at a very difficult time in my life. I wish my son was still here, I know he would have loved singing Place to Be, with me.
Thanks for the comment!
I love this happy little song.
Yes! It is a lovely song. 🙂
thanks. It’s such a quirky song, but the recording quality on the commercial makes it a little hard to make out the words.
Bottom of the air. Huh.
Yes, true. But I guess, that only makes it sound so real.
that’s why all of us are looking this up online 🙂
When I first saw the ad on tv I sat up and said I recognize that voice. That’s Malvina Reynolds!
That’s a voice you never forget and don’t often hear. I’m not familiar with that song but know some of her other songs. Especially “Little boxes made of ticky tacky” But the ticky tacky song isn’t a good one for selling houses I suppose, haha.
Hehe. Here are the Little Boxes Song Lyrics. Do check it out! 🙂
Area Man…I’m assuming “bottom of the air” references not having a house…living on the ground.
I also enjoy hearing this song on the Zillow commercials. I think it’s one of the happiest things on television.
I thought this might have been Shirley Temple as it has a distance 1930s-1940s sound to it.
